OC Spray Training-The police recruit is placed in a scenario where he has to make an arrrest and utilize his OC spray. Upon announcing he is using his OC, he is given a shot of OC to his face in order to simulate OC back spray due to wind. The recruit must call for help and finish the arrest while experiencing the effects of OC spray.
Pistol Range- Police recruits move from the prone position to the kneeling position while firing their weapons.

Underwater TrainingPolice recruits are placed into a cage simulating the driver seat of a patrol vehicle. They are then pushed into water, simulating a water landing vehicle crash. The recruit must remain seated, with seatbelt locked, until directed by instructors.
